Platform Announcement

Introducing Cascade Connect

A modern warranty platform, built for home builders.

We've replaced our old Buildertrend setup with a platform we built ourselves — faster, more secure, and designed around how warranty work actually happens.

Section 01 — How it's built

What's under the hood

Every part of the platform is built for speed, security, and clarity — here's the short version.

Interface

Fast, and it keeps your place

React, Vite, Tailwind & Shadcn UI

The dashboard is built for speed and stays responsive even with a lot of claims open. Refresh the page and everything comes right back — your data, your view, your place — with no flicker or lost work.

Security & access

Your data stays yours

Netlify Functions & Clerk

Your client and subcontractor data is never exposed to the browser. Every request runs through secure server-side functions, and sign-in plus role-based permissions are handled by Clerk — so people only ever see what they're supposed to.

Database

Scales with you

Neon (Serverless Postgres) & Drizzle ORM

Cascade Connect runs on Neon, a cloud database that automatically scales up when traffic spikes instead of slowing down. Every query goes through Drizzle, which keeps data access clean and guards against common database attacks.

AI & phone

Intake that opens the claim

OpenAI, Vapi Voice AI & Twilio

Plenty of tools can answer a call with AI. The hard part is what happens next: our webhook matches the caller to the right homeowner and opens a structured claim from what they described. And every AI output is a draft — a person on your team reviews it before anything is sent.

Section 02 — Then vs. now
